Not Their Best Work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can't rate 1 star since Brooks shoes always have a level of quality, but these are really disappointing. - Soles are too soft and not very durable. Already starting to wear a solid amount after just 2 months of use. Also very soft, so small sticks/pebbles will lodge themselves in the sole consistently. - Putting on the shoes us annoying due to the shape of the back. - Even with an ankle lock, the back of my heels start to hurt after several miles of walking on concrete. Never had this issue before. Look into other shoes by Brooks, not worth the premium.

Traditional Ghost Comfort And Great Looking
The Ghost 17 is a continuing improvement in an already great shoe. I can count on the fit being consistent with prior Ghost models. The ventilation seems to be slightly improved, which helped on long (4-5 mile) walks in last week's 100+ degree heat.

Nice Color Style, I Have To Let You Know After I Order A ½ Size Larger.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Too tight, have worn a 9½ my whole life, but for some reason this 9½ doesn't feel good. I later learned from the rep over the phone that they were running small. It would have been nice to have been informed of this when I ordered them over the phone to begin with.
