Legendary Goat Shorts

I’ve run in 5” sherpas for years through the design changes, this style with the high waste band is the best. Very comfortable, snug, but allows range of motion, not confining. I wear medium, I'm 33” waist, I think if I was 34”, I’d go to a size L.

A Great Pair Of Shorts

A really great set of shorts for working out in. Extremely comfortable and fits great!

Great Workout Shorts

Love these shorts. The 5" inch is great, they are tight enough to my legs and hug my waist well so that they don't moving during any movements. I use them for running, weightlifting, and playing volleyball. The pockets are quite small, my phone sticks halfway out when I have it in there. It's enough to hold it while walking but would fall out while running. Ultimately, these are great workout shorts that are now my go-to shorts.

No zip phone pocket on thigh as shown in photos. Zip pocket on rear waistband does not fit any standard phone in 2024. A great fitting short lacking basic functionality for modern runners. Disappointed and returned.

Good But Bouncy When Fully Loaded.

Generally a solid pair of shorts, but I felt that the pockets bounced too much when loaded with enough gels for a marathon. For shorts with this many pockets I had hoped they would be a little better at carrying the load nicely.

I'm A Convert

Fantastic shorts - been looking for some shorts that were as good as my old Better Than Naked. Finally found them! I'm a Sherpa convert

Comfortable Shorts

Very comfortable shorts that hold some of the necessary items as you set out on a run or hike. Very happy with the product and will purchase more.

Great Short, Great Storage

Great fit in waist that keeps phone tight against lower back when running. Lots of pockets for gels on long runs. My reason for 4/5 stars is that the liner has a somewhat thonglike fit that doesn't fully give me a wedgie but is kind of close- I've never had this problem from a Brooks pair of shorts before, or any other brand for that matter.

Good But Not My Favorite

Good pair of running shorts. Wore on a 10 mile run. They were comfortable. But I felt the shorts on the inside of my legs riding up often and I would have to readjust. Not a big deal and it could totally be my gait causing this. Liner is secure and kept everything in place.

Cannot Carry Smartphone

Nice material and design, but the back pocket opening is too small for a regular size smartphone.

New Favorite

Risked trying these out on a humid rugged 20 mile trail run. Glad I did. Everything stays right in place. Light. Quick drying. My new favorite shorts.

Great Shorts - Run Large

Great light shorts to pop on and go. My phone has a little bounce in the back pocket but not too noticeable. I am a 31-32 waist (medium most brands) and the small fits well in these.

Best Way To Beat The Heat

When you're trying to reduce layers to beat the heat, this is a great option. Zipper punch for your phone is secure with little bounce, additional pockets for gels eliminates the need for a pack. Dispersed sweat effectively with no moisture, so no friction. On long runs in the summer heat these shorts really have all you need.

Recommend Shorts!

Great pair shorts, and recommend. Suggestion to Brooks, elastic waistband or some other mechanism to keep shorts from slipping with phone in center backed zipper pocket. Also, the drop pockets are great but could be better as envelope type pockets so items dont slide out.

Great shorts. Just ran the Colfax Marathon (Denver) in them. No issues at all.
