Very Comfortable Brooks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first pair of Brooks. I bought them specifically because I was going to be doing a lot of walking. I loved the support they gave me. They fit true to size. After walking all day, my feet were in good shape.

Trace 4 Does The Job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rated the Trace 4 a 4 ONLY because I've had limited opportunity to wear it walking - I received it while I'm in Massachusetts for a month, just as the February 2026 Noreaster dumpted 18" of snow where I was at the time; today we're getting another 3-6 inches - so far. I ordered the Trace 4. to replace my Ghost 14, which I used only for travel - walking 8-12 hours/day. My Ghost was a 10 Wide. Loved the support yet light weight of the Ghost. I am sad to give it up after 4-5 years (remember, I used only for travel), but I wore it out. Based on my limited use, of the Trace 4, I think it will be a good replacement. It's definitely light weight, yet I feel adequately supported, even power walking, not just "travel walking." Its profile is reasonable for packing - it does not have a huge sole that takes up tons of space in luggage. I think it's a good casual/tourist walking and even power walking, light weight shoe. I look forward to wearing it more - as soon as the snow and ice clear enough for me to test-walk it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to love trace 2 and launch 8. My trace 2 is getting worn out and decided to replace it. This shoe started causing pain after being worn for a few hours, in the fourth metatarsal area, I replaced it, took a break for a few days, worn it again. Still the same. No other pair of shoes that I own is doing that. I wish the company quit experimenting with designs and keep some simple no frills no pain styles for people who use them primarily to be on their feet and walk.

Very Comfortable For Long Distances
I love these. The fit is very comfortable and great for walking long distances on very hilly roads in Texas Hill Country.
