Like most Carhartt women's bottoms these fit super weird on me. They're really loose in the waist but kind of snug in the leg creating this sort of bunched nappy look. I also had to cinch the drawstring all the way up to prevent them gaping at the back, but the next size down doesn't have enough room in the crotch for my whole bum and the legs are digging in. The fabric is nice and they have a bit of stretch and the pockets are a good size, and I think if you had wide hips and a small bum they probably look cute. I'm 5'11, 195lbs and got a large.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a fan of the Carhartt brown, but have recently become a huge fan of their durable fabric and construction! I already have two of the longer shorts with waistband and zipper, and wanted to try this more relaxed style. These are great! A bit shorter than I would wear in public, but find myself reaching for them repeatedly for yardwork. Good pockets, too. This Small was spot-on for me at 5'4", 135 lbs.

Ash berry color not as pictured. Much darker and more purple than pink.

The ash berry color is more on the purple side, not pink like the photo. I'm an xs and it's a tad big but they work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts are so comfortable. The material is quality and seems very durable. I did get a size smaller than I typically and they fit great.

Love it and hope they will continue selling it. I only wish they could add something to hold my key. The size of pockets are so perfect for my wallet and iPhone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is hard to find a good pair of shorts. I love these. I washed them and they did not shrink. I got a medium and typically wear a large. 166lbs, 5’4”

Great all purpose shorts. They are loose fitting and the perfect length! I'm 5' and fit above my knee and some will consider it too long but for me it's perfect. Unlike a lot of shorts, it does not flare out and the curving on the side makes it flattering. The waist is elastic, but adjustable for a comfortable fit. I was contemplating sizing down as it's loose, but not enough to size down.

I am super bummed that these shorts don't have belt loops. I should have noticed on my own especially with the elastic. I can't use these as work shorts though because I need the place to clip my keys and to be able to wear a belt to be in proper uniform. The other styles in khaki with belt loops just don't work for me.

These shorts have potential but if I were to wear them for work (general contracting) I would need belt loops. I wish you got more feedback from women in the trades when designing your work attire. Your carpenter shorts are almost good, but would love different inseam options and more pockets

I wasn't sure what to expect when i ordered these. I'm not used to this long of an inseam. I would say they do run on the larger side. They have grown on me the more I wear them. They are super comfortable and great for work in the summer months.

Good for a casual day in town, working in the garden, or hiking. Great fit and very comfortable.
