I have another jacket that is waterproof, but it is very heavy and is designed for use in colder conditions. I wanted a waterproof jacket that is lightweight and packable. This jacket is exactly that! It fits into my suitcase and backpack without issue, and I can wear it even in warmer temperatures because it is so breathable.

Great Design, But…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a light weight hiking jacket that also serves as a rain jacket and wind breaker. Good for layering in cold weather and vented for warm weather. Also packable. This seemed to meet all of the check boxes but when i got it, i did not like the plastic noisy crackling of the material The stiffness was also uncomfortable. Back to searching😕 if that is not a problem For you, this jacket may be a great purchase.
