The fit is SUPER tight, I would have needed the wide for this to be comfortable, dissapointed it ran so narrow. Grip is nice, looks decent, a bit more yellow mixed in than I care for when seen up close. Ankle support is not as good as more traditional high tops. If I could have gotten the wide version I would have. Won't repurchase.

The tongue has a really uncomfortable lack of cushion on the sides of it that can dig into your ankle if it slides over to either side. Everything else about this shoe is great. That is one big con, more pros than cons though.

Turf Toe Solution?
My daughter came down in a volleyball game and said her food hurt. She wasn't limping or anything, so we just kept and eye on it. Two days later in an all-day tournament, she was limping and you could see the pain in her eyes. Between matches two and three a doctor looked at it. At this point, it was swollen and we were told it was turf toe. I have heard of this from football but sure wasn't on my radar. With tape, ice bathes, and no longer jump serving, she made it through volleyball. So the search was on for a basketball shoe that would help with turf toe. This shoe was not my top select, although the top selection was also a New Balance shoe. She has been practicing for three weeks now and although the injury hasn't been solved, it has been getting better slowly. With the wider toe box and extra cushion in the toe area, I believe that this shoe has helped. As with all shoes, there's a break-in period and since we have only been at it for three weeks, I gave it four stars. As we start with games and see how things go, it's very possible that rating could increase.
