I've bought both cushioned and lightweight ankle running socks. I'd recommend lightweight for everyday runs and cushioned socks for longer distance for best comfort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These socks were on clearance so I purchased a few pairs. The first pair I put on was flawed and the heel started to rip apart. The second pair wasn't flawed and I ran a few miles in them. They are the thinnest running socks I've owned and I'm a little worried they'll ultimately fall apart with enough friction and even just the force of pulling them on and off. They are very tight and the toe seam is noticeable when you start out running.
