Performance & Comfort If You Get The Size Right

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After spending some time with the Adidas Predator 26 League Turf, I'd say it's an excellent turf shoe with plenty to like. The only real thing to be aware of is sizing, which can be a little hit or miss especially if you have average to wide feet or asymmetrical feet like I do. In my usual Adidas football boot size, the fit was very snug. The upper wraps securely around your foot and really hugs your toes, giving you that locked-in, performance feel. While the boot feels tight initially, the toe box actually offers a decent amount of room once the upper starts to mould to your foot, so your toes don't feel cramped. That said, if you prefer a little extra space at the front of the shoe rather than a true performance fit, I'd recommend going up half a size. The extra length provides a more forgiving fit without making the shoe feel loose or sloppy. My Sizing Advice Performance fit: Stick with your normal Adidas football boot size if you like a close, locked-in fit. Comfort fit: Go up half a size if you have average to wide feet, asymmetrical feet, or simply prefer a little more room in front of your toes. Overall, the predator 26 turf is a comfortable, supportive shoe with excellent traction and a secure fit. Once you dial in the correct size, it's a fantastic option for artificial turf. Just pay close attention to sizing, as choosing between your normal size and half a size up can make all the difference.
