Brooks Men's Glycerin 23 Running Shoes

About This Item

    What Our Experts Are Saying:

"The premium cushioning throughout the heel all the way to the forefoot is unmatched with the DNA Tuned tech. There are two nitrogen injected cells in the shoe, one larger one in the heel for cushion and one smaller one in the forefoot to provide explosiveness, and they provide me so much more relief when running. Putting on the shoe is super simple with the easy pull loop in the back, which helps me get on the ground running quicker than ever. Most shoes I try on and they don’t last me longer than 4-5 months, I can confidently say the Brooks Glycerin 23 can hold up much longer than my previous shoes. The rubber tread on the bottom is so durable and gives me the confidence to run on any terrain anywhere. I can’t recommend this shoe enough for anyone that wants a plush ride, good support, and reliable shoe that can go the distance." - Dylan, Run Ambassador at DICK'S Sporting Goods Gilbert, AZ

Fit Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love em. They fix great! And have an excellent assist in push off. Cushion allows comfort while in stance phase. Great shoes

Finally

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been wearing Ghost for years, after reviewing the specs on this particular Glycerin I ordered it with great expectations, it didn’t disappoint!!! I have been waiting for this outer material configuration for years!! I love it! Please use this material more often in the Glycerin and Ghost,, please!!. It performs as good as it looks! Five Stars

Super Nice Shoe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super smooth, lightweight, ultra-cushioned. I've run 6 marathons in this model. I love this shoe!!!! Not to mention, a very good-looking shoe!

Good Shoe, Not As Good As The Glycerin 22

I have had the Glycerin 21s, 22s, and now the 23s. I require a pretty soft padded walker because I have small fiber neuropathy in my feet. The 22s were a great shoe. The 23s have a fatter heal. They say more padding but my heal doesn't sink in but sits up higher. Maybe that will change as they break in. The problem is that as the heal sits up higher, the arch support is not as firm. The 22s had better arch support. Nothing that an aftermarket arch support wouldn't fix. The toes are tighter, or more snug. I use the 2E wide and I can still feel my big toes hitting when I first put them on. However, so far, I do not feel any pain, rubbing, or toe pressure while walking. I'm still trying to decide if I should keep these because of the tight toes section but mostly the arch support. I think if the arch support was a bit more firm I'd give them 5 stars. I can get used to the heal area. That's all I got. Hope it helps.

Like Walking On A Cloud

I just put them on and they feel wonderful, the footbed is like nothing I’ve felt before and the instep is soooo comfy, these will be my go to shoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great overall feel. Very cushioning but did have to order 1/2 size larger than usual. Very satisfied!

All Day Comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these for work as I am on my feet all day. Have yet to run in them. Shoes are comfortable. I over pronate on one foot and find on that foot it is not quite as comfortable by the end of the day. From my experience with brooks after a good 1-2 month break in period they will become more comfortable. I can tell these are high quality. I like that the tongue does not shift at all.

Great Decision

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually stick with another brand of shoe, however, I was in need of a more comfortable shoe. I made a great decision on my new Brooks shoes. Comfort in every step. I use for walking and jogging on the paved streets/roads & can say that the stability is also impressive.

Lightweight, Soft, Comfy As A Pillow - With One Big Caveat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ... The footend, the front where the toe is proves problematic. At least in what I received. There's a thin, curved piece of cardboard like material that "protects" your toe. Unfortunately, it's very flimsy and mine was (is made??) with an indent. So, everyone my big toe rubs up against it, I feel it. It's like after biting your inner lip. You always feel it! It's not painful (the shoe, not the lip!) but it's THERE. Constant annoyance.

To Small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable and cushioning, but too tight in the toe box, too short

Perfect Fit For Trip To Europe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed some very high quality shoes for walking and light hiking for a 3 week trip to Europe. Tried on standard and max versions of the Ghosts, Adrenalines, Rebel 8 and all 3 styles of Glycerin, and knew the instant I slid my feet into standard Glycerin that they were the best for me. Footbed feels supportive, the right amount of cushion under the heel is the right amount of squish and spring , the upper hugs my slightly wide feet just right and the lacing of the tongue feels comfy. Have walked miles and miles and miles straight out if the box with no foot pain or fatigue.

Overall Impressive Shoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent impact cushion when running. Cushion is supportive at work, but I can tell these shoes were made for running and not standing after a while. Ankle cushion is very supportive and a quality material.
