Had it out on the boat while it was 80 and windy, and didnt overheat. I got splashed on the ride quite a bit, and it is not fully waterproof nor is it advertised to be. it did limit the amount of water that got to my clothes and the coat dried out within 10 minutes.

Wore it in the rain recently and my shoulders were completely drenched. Very misleading. Especially since it says 'Rain defender® durable water repellent (DWR)'.
