This Hat Isn't The Best...
it's tough to find a good hat. This one is not a good hat. Not the worst, but not good. And certainly not worth $45 (before shipping and taxes). First of all, the stiching was defective in the mesh area. The mesh is extra soft and doesn't hold it's form. I mostly fixed the defective mold with boiling water to at least get it to form good enough to wear at all. This hat is actually two stars. But you have to click on at least three or four stars for these reviews to be accepted as a post on sites like this. If this review posts, that's why. The more important subject is the fit. Some hat's fit like a beenie over your skull. Meaning they fit in a way that makes you look like a pin head. This is not the exact messurement, but the fit would be basically like the hat looks to be a little more than 1/4th of your face. These hats are always the ones I'm most worried about getting. They are the absolutly worst hats. And this hat is much better than that type of fit. Other hats, fit way too big, they pop up so high that the hat can sink down to cover your ears and it pops so high up, it will appear to be a little less than 1/2 of your face. That's this type of hat. And it's a very common fit. But, I don't like it because I have a perfectly symetrical face and head. If you have somekind of weird face or a big long head, this is probably the type of hat you would like. So five stars for you. The perfect fit is in the middle of this spectrum. The hat should not fit like a beenie or fit like a Abraham Lincoln top hat. The perfect hat will look like it is apx 1/3rd of your face. And $45 for a trucker mesh snapback hat is a rip-off if it was made in the USA with a perfect fit with top material and quality control stiching. Which this has none of.
