[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been looking to get back into playing basketball on the weekends again so when I started to look for a new shoe for games I fell in love with the silhouette of the Luka 5s along with the subtle colorways offered. Once they arrived I immediately threw them on and played a quick game and while I was a bit rusty these shoes instantly felt secure and supportive and even after losing track of time I never once felt as uncomfortable as I used too with my old game sneakers. I was afraid when they got here they’d be too bulky on foot once I saw them in person but it ended up being the complete opposite, the uniqe blocking with different materials and colors made them look sleek and I never felt like I HAD to take them off once I got off the court I could wear them anywhere no problem. They feel lightweight enough for fast paced play while still providing the support needed for aggressive movements, with a good balance between good lockdown, flexibility and traction I never once felt unnatural or out of control. Honestly my only issue could just be a me problem because I think I have thicker feet but when I first got them and tried them on they felt a little snug and I was afraid they wouldn’t break in but after only two games they immediately felt perfect so at first they may feel tight but just give them some time to break in, but overall I love the look, comfort and the balance of the Luka 5s I’d recommend them any day of the week.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Jordan Luka 5 run small - order a size up from what you usually order. I wear a 12 dress shoe, usually get 12.5 sneakers, and a 12.5 pair was small; I needed a 13. I found the support of the shoes to be nice - my ankles felt well supported and it would be hard to roll your ankles in these. I did some squats on a deadlift platform and felt really stable - you could use these for lifting. On hardwood surfaces, the grip is fantastic - these are well suited to the court and a serious ball player would be able to get great use out of them, but I also got good use at the gym. The inner fabric is smooth and socks slide easily into the shoes, but I found that sometimes the tongue of the shoe catches your foot and folds at the bottom when you put your foot in, and this can be uncomfortable. I don’t know if this is some quirk with the fit or size of the shoe on my foot, but it is a little annoying. The outer fabric is tough and seems to resist water - it rained at one point and my feet stayed dry. I love the style of the shoes - I have gotten a few compliments in just the short two weeks I’ve worn them out. I have the all black shoe with bright crimson soles - they look good with both jeans and shorts and are very versatile. My favorite part of the Luka line is the neon contrast with the rest of the shoe - it’s awesome. Overall a great shoe - just be sure to try them on first and make sure they fit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Jordan Luka 5 is definitely a nice shoe. The design is very sleek and the silhouette is somewhat futuristic when you compare to retro styles. The black color way goes very well with most outfits and can be worn with minimal effort. The only problem I have is the overall fit of the shoe. I usually wear a size 11 but I found the 11 in this shoe a bit tight. I decided to wear these in the airport and it was a bit painful, I couldn’t wait to take them off. Walking is also not as comfortable but they’re basketball shoes and not designed for that, but the inner sole felt a little bit firm for me. I would recommend you buy half a size up at least if you can. Overall a nice looking shoe but the fit and feel leave a bit to be desired.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Luca 5’s were a surprisingly very comfortable shoe right out of the box. I did a couple of indoor pick up games where the traction surprised me. They felt very responsive and comfortable after hours of playing. I also decided to take them to Work after a 12 hour shift I decided I would definitely keep my eyes out for new color ways.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Jordans Luka 5, run a bit small and can be a tight fit to wear. Sizing up half a number is a must unfortunately. I like these shoes the way they look and the color way is on point to wear with everything in and out the basketball court. The mesh and the air jump man on the side just add to the look of this shoe. Is stealthy, yet makes you turn around and take another look at them. Overall these shoes provide amazing support to your feet. The sock lining not only hugs your feet, but it adds protection to your ankles. The sole is responsive and you can feel the cushion doing its job with every step. The sole provides great traction and grip for sudden turns and I love that orange-red on the bottom, it just pops. The 5’s just work and I hope they fit better as I wear them down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoe felt almost impossible to slide my right flat foot into!!! I kept loosening the shoe laces until I could finally move the tongue around. And even then, I had to use my fingers push my heel in. Once I got them on, it did feel very supportive on my ankles, which I absolutely need. A little tight on the middle right of my flat foot so I did start to feel some slight pain. Very easy to move around in, however. The design was a little underwhelming on the outside, but I LOVED the bottom of the shoe, and wished some elements of the bright hot pink was on the outside of the shoe. But I mean, can't go wrong with black shoes. They can be worn with any fit. Quality of the shoe I think is really good and feels thick and strong and able to withstand hard movements like jumping and agility exercises. I would change how hard it is to actually get my foot inside the shoe, but I really liked the design on the bottom of the shoe. I think the shoe does run just a tad bit small.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Jordan Luka 5's are super snug. Wearing them is like the most comfy bear hug I've ever had. They seem to run a little small, so make sure you try some on before you order. It's been a while since I wore shoes with the air tubes. These tubes run the full length of the sole. It took me a while to get used to the feel, but the cusion is great! I got the blacks and they look so nice! A good portion of them is black reflective, but you can only see it in certain lighting conditions. I'm a fan of small details so this was a huge plus for me. Overall, I wish there was a wide version, but they are still super comfortable even though they're tight. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a good looking shoe that is comfortable and have great cushion and bounce!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes fit perfectly and are incredibly comfortable! I wore them for an entire day and didn’t experience any foot pain at all. I absolutely love how stylish they look and received so many compliments. They may look a little oversized at first, but once you put them on, they don’t look bulky on your feet. They’re stylish, comfortable, and would be perfect for winter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe design is perfect! The inner shoe is very tight on you foot because of the extra cushion near the ankle. Being a low cut shoe the extra cushion gives you great stability with cutting quickly on the court. It give you a sense of confidence when you move around and feel like the shoe is secure to your foot. I wouldn't say it's the lightest shoe I've played in but it's not bulky. The look on the feet is pretty good too, you can definitely wear these outside of basketball. My main issue is the cushion near your ankle pushing your foot forward that hurts you big toe when stop suddenly. Everything left & right is good but the stopping will make you notice a pinch on you toes. Definitely go at least a half size up and if you have wide feet go full size up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good shoe to play basketball in. The sole is very comfortable. And has some good coushing to it. Runs a little small so id go up half a size for a good fit. As far as the looks it's a beautiful shoe. Love the mesh on the upper and big fan of the heel of the shoe I like what they did there with the liner being seperate from the outer part. The all black color way with that silver tongue is a good combination to play ball in or even just wear them casually. Fit snug on the top or my foot which I like when I'm playing basketball. Would definitely look into getting other color ways of this same shoe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Jordan Luka 5's were a solid basketball shoe both on and off the court. I do not traditionally wear black shoes, but the ohmage to the Jordan Bred's was a nice touch. I liked the vibrance of the sole and the reds and greys on bottom, in addition to the mesh upper made for a nice looking show. The things I liked most about the shoes were, for lowtops, I felt good support. The inside of the shoe seemed to hug to my foot. The shoes felt durable and I get the sense I would be able to get a lot of wear in these before it would be time to replace them. These shoes are relatively light weight and the Air Zoom cushioning comes through every step you take both on and off the court. These shoes carry the expectation I have for the Jordan Brand. Some of the negatives on this shoe is the stiffness. Even though I liked that my foot felt protected, the shoe did feel stiff and I didnt feel the freedom of movement like I do in other hoop shoes. The laces feel cheap and with these shoes being a higher end brand, I would expect stronger laces that could support the wear and tear of a long season. Even though there is mesh, I do with these had more ability to breathe as my feet did get warm. Overall, these are a good shoe, that provide comfort and stability for any hooper. The Zoom was very comfortable, I just wish they were as stiff and had more breathability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like this style, was excited to try them out. Unfortunately, it seems that they run at least a half-size smaller than other Nike basketball shoes—I’m consistently a 12.5 but think I need a 13 in these—so I haven’t been able to put them to work yet. I have to say, though, as someone who usually wears Kobe 9s, I really liked the wider toe box on these Luka 5s. If I can get my hands on the right size, I might be a convert. Just from trying on, I can tell that these have great support (really like the extra cushioning), with great traction and bounce, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of Luka and his shoe line. I was very excited to get these. The shoes offer great support around the ankles and they work great on the court. I would definitely recommend these to anyone thinking about them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Jordan Luka 5 shoes are court performance and reliability all rolled into one package. The cushioning technology creates a soft air pocket under the feet which delivers a spring like feel when moving across the court. I would typically experience pain in the ankles and arches of my feet when using basketball shoes with traditional Strobel boards. The new air zoom feature greatly reduces the pain while delivering high responsiveness during rapid movements. You practically stick to the court providing the ultimate traction control experience while maintaining stability. I was pleasantly surprised when I was also able to wear these shoes on the track as well for extended periods of time with little to no discomfort. These shoes are designed with synthetic leather material making them extremely light weight. At times, it almost feels as if I have nothing on my feet which I greatly appreciate. The size is also accurate as I wear a size 9 men’s shoe. Aside from functionality, these shoes look fast standing still and are aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The versatility of these shoes is amazing and even look cool under a pair of jeans for a night out. If I had to give a negative comment on these shoes, they have a very narrow fit which would need to be broken in a bit. I would typically prefer a slightly wider shoe, however I was able to overcome this with use. Personally, I love these shoes and the benefits they provide. See the results for yourself and give these a try!
