Not Comfortable On The Top Edge Of The Shoe

I returned these. The shape of the shoe near the top lace outlet is shaped in a way that it digs into my ankle. I ended up changing to a different brand, all the Merrill’s were shaped like this on the top. It is not a defect, it’s a design choice. I suspect the design impacts women more than men. It may not impact women with big ankles the same way but for women with thin or normal ankles, the shoes puts pressure on the soft spot below your ankle bones on both sides. This gets uncomfortable fast.

Perfect For City And Trails

I cannot say enough good things about this pair of shoes. I’ve worn them for city exploring and Matterhorn hiking. They work with linen pants and hiking pants. Love love love them!

Hiking Quality

I was looking for a shoe tp handle rough terrain on a hiking trip in the alps and settled on these sneakers. They have a very thick sole, gripy tread, plenty of cushion, and nice supporting arch. I got the black ones because they didnt have the other colors in my size. That is my only disappointment with them.

Issue With Herls

All my shoes are size 8.5, these ones were sliding on the heel. I put in an indole, heel stickers and nothing made a difference. I believe to be an issue with design. Otherwise I would love to have them...

Always Been Good In The Past.

Nowhere, I bought two pairs on line and have not worn them yet. This is about the tenth time I have been asked to fill out this survey since this last purchase. I bought two pairs for myself and two pairs for my wife. Why not employ some AI and stop sending me the same email over and over again. Also this submit form does not work very well, why not fix it so it works. I have bought Merrell many times in the past and will buy again in the future, I like them, I always buy the Gore-Tex waterproof ones and buy pairs in advance of needing them when they are on sale. My wife buys more for fashion and I purchase what she likes the look of when they are on sale. I am type 2 diabetic and have been for 30 years, I wear them with Darn Tough Marino wool blend hiking socks and walk a minimum of three and half miles a day rain or shine; so far zero sign of any neuropathy or other foot problems, I am now 70 years old.

Don't Fit Like Most Merrell Shoes Do

I have worn Merrell shoes for 30+ years. Always a perfect fit and always comfortable. These shoes...not so much. The heel is very wide and loose. I have put heel liners in but still my heels slide up and down. I like the style of the shoe but I may end up donating them. Not worth the hassle of trying to figure out how to make them comfortable. Bummed.

Comfortable And Warm

Love, love these shoes. They are the most comfortable and warm shoes. I’ve never had a pair of shoes that kept my feed warm. (I’m always cold). I walk every day no matter the temperature. It was 3 degrees today and I didn’t ship a step and my feet were warm the entire time.
