I love my collection of 2002’s and this model is very attractive. I have big wide feet and normally wear a size 14 2E or 4E in most NB running and lifestyle shoes. A size 14 D will work in 99x’s but the wider widths just feel better. However, a 14 D in the 2002’s fit really good with no tightness and no pain after hours of wear. The 2002 model is well padded and extremely comfortable. Moreover, they have been produced for years so they are available in a wide variety of colors and styles. I highly recommend this model. Try a pair. You will be glad you did.

Purchased this shoe for gym use as my running shoes weren’t cutting it ( not enough support). These are a sturdy, comfortable shoe, well made and supportive. I can still do a decent treadmill warmup in them but I wouldn’t use them for a longer treadmill session. That’s not what they’re made for so I can’t penalise the shoes for that. Fit is true to size. I have moderately wide feet and these accomodate this easily. The sole is quite soft so it’s nice and grippy in the gym.
