Very comfortable running shoe. The sole is not bulky, but still provides cushion. I’m a heel pounder, and I’ve yet to have any heel discomfort after running about 10 miles on these. The style of the shoe is really nice, they slip on easy. I used to be a die hard NB shopper until they focused on the thick bulky sole style… these are brought me back.
Good shoes for running errands, not very much cushion but the cushion that is there is very comfy. Feels like a sock in your foot and very light, it’s a preference thing very nice tho

The Cruz V3 is a solid shoe - light, comfortable, and looks great. I've had previous versions of the Cruz and thought they were a bit better in overall quality.

I purchased my New Balance Fresh Foam Cruz V3 shoes roughly 4 months ago. The thin/cheap material developed a hole near the front toe area. Extremely frustrating, especially since I used these shoes for casual wear only. This was my first pair of New Balance shoes (typically wear Nike or Adidas). Unsure if I’d buy another pair of NB :(

The Fresh Foam X Cruz was an absolute find for me. I suffered a foot injury years ago and have struggled ever since to find a sneaker that is truly comfortable enough to wear for any length of time. Most shoes either felt too tight, lacked the cushioning I needed, or left my foot uncomfortable after walking. The Fresh Foam X Cruz has been a game changer. The cushioning is incredibly comfortable, and the shoe provides the support and room my foot needs without feeling bulky. I can wear them for extended periods without the discomfort I’ve experienced with so many other sneakers. If you’ve had foot problems or simply struggle to find a comfortable everyday sneaker, I highly recommend giving the Fresh Foam X Cruz a try. For me, finding a shoe this comfortable has been a long time coming. My only critique would be the lack of color combos.

The shoe is comfortable with a nice cushion sole. However, the tongue is 'gusseted'. FYI...A gusseted tongue is a tongue that is attached to the shoe not only at the base of the tongue, but also on the sides of the tongue. Nowhere in the shoe's description is this mentioned. I find this 'feature' is unwanted. It makes the shoe difficult to put on. I have to work to squeeze my foot into the shoe. And, if you want to loosen the laces for a looser fit, you can't do it. You just cannot make the fit any looser than the gusset allows.
