Nike Standard Issue

Super light and breathable. Which also helps in comfort.

Comfortable Shorts For Everyday

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love these shorts. I think they’re really comfortable and have a modern, minimalist look that makes them easy to wear casually. After trying this pair, I’m already tempted to order them in more colors. In terms of the material, it’s a breathable mesh that has more of a silky, athletic feel rather than being soft. Since these are a bit shorter than your typical basketball shorts though, I found myself wearing them more casually for lounging around the house. One thing I would mention is that they seem to run a little small in the waist. I typically wear an XXS in Nike/Jordan shorts, but these felt tighter than I would have liked. If I were ordering again, I’d go with an XS for a more relaxed fit, (maybe even a S?) especially for playing basketball or doing other physical activities. The drawstring is also pretty long, but I actually like how it looks and think it adds to the style. The pockets are also well placed and deep enough to comfortably hold my phone and keys without any issues. Overall, I think these are great shorts for everyday wear. They’re lightweight, breathable, and comfortable enough that you almost forget you’re wearing them. I especially appreciate the clean design without any loud logos or unnecessary branding. I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a pair of shorts that are simple, stylish, and comfortable.

Old School Mesh Basketball Shorts Upgraded

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts are some of my new favorite workout shorts. They are a little thicker than typical older mesh shorts but breathable enough to not get too hot. They feel durable to take the wear and tear of barbell type workouts, playing basketball, running and anything else in any type of weather. I am 5'11" and 165 lbs and the medium size fits perfect. I typically avoid 5" shorts because they feel too short, but these are substantial enough to not feel high on my thigh. I appreciate the pockets on each side, which is not typically part of a basketball short. The pockets are not super deep because of the length of the short so my phone or wallet will sometimes fall out when getting in and out of my car if I'm not careful. The drawstring is thick and sturdy like the rest of the shorts. The navy blue looks good. Overall these are a solid workout short.

Great For Basketball, Not So Much Working Out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple and comfortable pair of shorts. The mesh material is lightweight and breathable. They are also free flowing which allows for athletic movement without feeling restrictive. I typically prefer a longer inseam short for various training styles since these tend to rise up when sitting down. Overall solid pair of shorts that you can wear while playing basketball or working out if you prefer shorter inseams

My son loves these olive shorts! True to size, perfect length.

Good Material But Runs Small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first glance you'll love the unique colorway. The thick knotted drawstring is a great upgrade because it won't get sucked into your shorts during washing. I would personally recommend going a size up, they run small and tight. Not a lot of wiggle room in these shorts. You can hoop, workout, or go for a nice jog in these shorts. Not to mention they have pockets that have a nice depth for your keys or phone. Overall I like them just would have gotten a size up if I knew they ran small.

Nike Athletic Shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When these Nike athletic shorts arrived I was pleasantly surprised by their silky, soft feel. They are very breathable which is very important to me and also held up extremely well in the washer and dryer. My son even wore them and loved them except he and I agreed on 2 important things. 1. They seemed to run small; I would definitely size up because my son and I typically wear a size XS in adult, men’s apparel and these were very snug in the waist. 2. The white drawstring. It stands out a ton on the dark colored shorts; we just wish it blended better!

Great Workout Shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What did you think about the fit and feel of this apparel item? What did you think about the design, did any features stand out? How did this apparel item perform? What did you like most? What would you change? These Nike Standard Issue Men's 5" Practice Mesh Basketball Shorts are a great workout option. I got these for my very tall and slender 11 year old son, who we have a hard time finding shorts for that fit in the waist, are long enough, and stay put during workouts. The mesh material is thick enough for coverage, but lightweight to not be restrictive or trap heat. Material is not scratchy or rough as some mesh can be. The design of these shorts is pretty minimalist with small Nike logo and solid mesh pattern. I appreciate this to help with outfit coordinating and my son does not care for large logos or busy patterns. Would purchase these in more colors as available as a great workout or everyday wear option.

Excellent Comfy Shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts are so comfortable, and perfect for lounging or wearing out. I wear them 2-3 times per week and love them. They fit a little more snug than size small has fit in the past, but they aren’t too tight.

Comfortable Shorts For Anytime

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who loves basketball shorts as everyday wear and sportswear, these have been a god send. They fit perfectly and feel amazing. I can see myself wearing them on a day off and a hard day at the gym, and of course, when I’m playing sports. Usually, shorts from Nike run a bit larger than what I’m used to, but this time they fit exactly as I expected (5’8 usually wearing small). I recommend this to anyone who needs everyday shorts that they can use for anything on the go.

Surprisingly Soft And Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts are surprisingly soft and comfortable. I normally wear a size 30 x 34 pant and wore these in a size small. Next time, I would size up to a medium so there’s a little more room. As a result, it was slightly restrictive when bending or squatting. The design has some interesting features. I like the pockets, which I normally don't see in basketball shorts. They are just deep enough to hold the essentials like keys and a wallet. However, they don't comfortably hold my smartphone. I also appreciate the drawstring and would have used it if I sized up to a medium. Another design feature that stuck out to me is the minimal branding on these shorts. The smaller logo makes it versatile for everyday wear. Performance-wise, the material seems top quality. I’ve played basketball for several years, and these seem to be better quality than similar shorts. One thing to note: the color isn't a normal navy. You may have trouble pairing it with other blues. Overall, my favorite feature is the fabric. The thicker waistband also makes these more comfortable. It almost feels like a boxing-type waistband. Lastly, the length does not feel overly short. I would definitely wear these shorts more if I had the right size.

Basketball Shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shorts feel comfortable and is very breathable, which is great when I use it to work out or play basketball. I also like the fit of the shorts, which were true to size. My main critique for the shorts are the long drawstrings on the outside of the shorts. If I can change this feature, I would decrease the size of the drawstring and/or place it inside shorts.

Short And Stylin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy the experience of these shorts. I should have gone with a small instead of an extra small as it’s a smidge small around my waist. Every other part of the fit I did enjoy: the space for my hips, the length, and even the size of the elastic band part. I was a little surprised by the color. I was expecting gray but these have a purple ish (if you can call it that) undertone. I like it, but I’m not sure I was prepared for it. The other thing I noticed was the tie at the cinch waist was difficult to tie in a bow because the ties are stiff. If you don’t tie yours in a bow then it’s not a big deal, but I found that part difficult. Fabric make up, length, and room for hips without being too oversized were wins for me with these shorts. Curious to try a size up and different colors now that my interest is peaked.

Nike Workout Shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved the color and simple Nike design of these shorts. The material was super soft, lightweight, and breathable, making them seem perfecr for workouts or everyday wear. Unfortunately, they ran really small, especially around the waist, which made them less comfortable than I expected. I would recommend sizing up for a better fit. Overall, I loved the fabric and style, but I wish the fit was more true to size so I could fully enjoy wearing them.
