The Free Metcon 6 supports every grunt, growl and “got it!” We added even more forefoot flexibility to our most adaptable trainer and reinforced the heel with extra foam. That means more freedom for dynamic movements during plyos and cardio classes, plus the stable base you need for weights.


Design:

  • Upper is made of breathable, supportive engineered mesh with built-in stretch where needed during dynamic movements, like lunging, squatting and jumping
  • Flywire cables give you a dynamic fit and help keep you secure during your workout
  • Rounded the big-toe side of the forefoot for better agility during any sudden movements

In-Shoe Comfort:

  • Combination of tuned support and intentionally placed cushioning helps you feel secure with every step
  • Comfortable inner sleeve increases ankle support and provides more seamless fit
  • Laser-siped foam in the forefoot and midsole offers flexibility and comfort
  • More foam was added in the heel for improved stability

Durability & Traction:

  • Laser-siped outsole for better flexibility allowing you to move more naturally
  • Multi-surface traction pattern is made for any workout surface and activity

Great Workout Shoe

The Nike free in the toes is perfect for HIIT classes , explosive movements like burpees and high knees make this shoe an all around workout buddy!

Not Enough Support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased for high impact activity and didn't feel there was enough cushion or lateral support. Mesh fabric is light and breathable but I needed support instead. Also the fit is not narrow enough. Not able to tighten or use for jumping around.

Light Good Support
