Awesome Shoes

Very Comfortable, my new go to shoe. Wear them almost everywhere I go!

Solid Stability

I picked up the Nike Structure Plus because I wanted a daily trainer that offered solid stability without feeling overly corrective. Overall, it does that job well. The biggest positive is the stability. The shoe feels very planted through the heel and midfoot, and I never feel like I’m fighting the shoe or worrying about my foot rolling around. For easy runs and recovery miles, that secure feeling is exactly what I was looking for. The downside is that the ride feels a little heavy and “thuddy.” Compared with some of my other shoes, especially the Brooks Hyperion Max 3 and Saucony Hurricane 25, the Structure Plus doesn’t have much excitement or energy return. It feels more like a protective workhorse than something that makes me want to pick up the pace. The cushioning is comfortable, and I appreciate the higher drop because it seems to take some stress off my Achilles. I’ve dealt with some Achilles and ankle irritation while increasing my running volume, so having a stable shoe that feels protective has been valuable. What I like: * Very stable and secure * Comfortable cushioning * Good option for easy/recovery runs * Higher drop works well for me and my Achilles * Feels durable and protective What I don’t like: * Feels heavier than I’d prefer * Ride can feel clunky or “thuddy” * Not much energy return * Wouldn’t be my choice for workouts or racing Overall: 8/10 The Nike Structure Plus isn’t the most exciting shoe in my rotation, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s a dependable, stable daily trainer that I’m happy to use for easy miles, especially when I want to give my legs and tendons a break. If you prioritize stability and comfort over speed and bounce, it’s a very solid option.

Max Comfort

Nike Structure Supportive Cushioning Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new shoe type for all day wear. I had a foot injury twenty seven years ago. Just recently my foot has taken a turn for the worse. I have worn Nike Monarch shoes for nearly forty years but they just dont give me the support that I need anymore. I stopped in to Dick's at the Westfield Franklin Park store to find a more supportive shoe. I tried on a few styles and chose the Nike Structure Plus. I love the light fit and support that the Structure Plus gives me. I have already mentioned to my boss about the Nike Structure. I believe he may check them out for himself.
