Extremely Disappointed — Would Not Recommend

I’m extremely disappointed with the Nike Vapor Pro 1 football cleats. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend these cleats, especially for anyone who will be wearing them for frequent practices or extended periods of time. My son wore these cleats for only five football practices, and by the fifth practice, the blisters on his feet had become so severe that he could no longer practice in them. He developed large, painful blisters on the backs of both heels as well as underneath the ankle area on both feet. The biggest issue appears to be the lack of padding around the heel and the way the sock-like portion of the cleat meets the hard plastic material. There is a noticeable seam/edge where the two materials come together, and it creates significant rubbing and pressure with movement. In my opinion, the design does not provide enough protection or cushioning in an area that experiences a lot of friction during football. We expected better from a Nike football cleat, particularly at this price point. Cleats should be able to withstand regular practices without causing this level of injury after only a handful of uses. Unfortunately, these became unusable for him before he could even get through a full week of practice. It is also worth noting that several other kids on my son’s team have experienced the same issue, developing similar heel and ankle blisters after wearing the same cleats, which suggests this is not an isolated case. I would not purchase these again and would not recommend them to other football players.

Do Not Buy

I was expecting big things from these cleats. I have never been so disappointed in my life, the cleats lefts many painful blisters. There’s no padding in the ankle and the hard plastic digs into your skin. I’ve never gotten blisters from new cleats. Go with another option.

Brutal break-in process only for it to start digging in your ankle bone/back of foot.

really nice fit comfortable but make sure to break into the shoe before use or else blister will be left on heel

Tearing Up My Heel

These cleats are tearing up my son’s heel. Something about the design of the heel/achilles area is not forgiving at all and these are unwearable. The cleats seem well made with good materials, but the ergonomics are not ideal. We sized up a half size as well. Position is free safety.

Painful To Wear

Good looking shoe. My lacrosse player hated wearing them though. They tore up his heals. A few of the other guys on his team got them too because they liked the look of his, and they had the same problem.

Straight up with yall these cleats hurt. I wore them at spring training today and my feet and heels were hurting so bad that I had to ask my coach to use the bathroom just to take them off and let my feet breathe.overall they look good but the comfort is not it.

nice looking cleats. Bought them for my son for lacrosse and football, they run small. buy a 1/2 size bigger He could only wear them twice because the sides were so tight and gave him blisters

Great Cleats!

I bought two pairs of these cleats and both boys love them. They love the blue also.

My son loves these shoes. He says that they have great ankle support and they feel really light

My son loves them! He’s 8 and wears a size 4 and he was so happy to be able to finally match his older brother. The kids cleats aren’t built the same as the adult models.

Love The Look, Not The Fit.

These look awesome but the style of shoe is a little difficult in getting them on. We returned them. It might just be my so son’s arch or something but he struggled getting his foot in even though once on they were big enough.

Fractured Bones And Bad Blisters

This cleat gave myself and other people I know awful foot pain--leading us to suspect a stress fracture from this poorly designed cleat. Previous to this, everyone I know including me has to blister tape every day or you end practice with your feet bleeding. Do not recommend to anyone
