when you view the backpack on the app it doesn't appear so but it is netted. I returned it back. so if you do not want others to see what's in your pack this is not the one for you

Got these mesh style back packs specifically to transport the grandsons dirty-stanky football practice gear. You all know that smell when it they are stored in a enclosed bag for too long when you don't get to them right away. These bags help alot with that issue. Thanks UA

I guess I didn't read the description well it's not a solid fabric it's a see through mesh and it's not really big enough for a sports bag so not sure what you would use this for.
